Country is a new studio
recording of eleven popular praise and worship songs, four original
compositions (The four original compositions on the album were all penned by
Shoals songwriters) and a previously recorded track by Rascal Flatts,
performed on the CMA Awards show as a tribute to the victims of the Virgina
Tech shootings. In addition to Rascal Flatts, this album features country
artists such as Diamond Rio, Charlie Daniels, Ricky Skaggs, and The Shoals
own Rachel Robinson.
Killen resident Michael
Anthony Curtis and former Alabama member Teddy Gentry have teamed up to
produce what is destined to be an award-winning gospel album.
One of the best songs on
the album, penned by Michael Anthony Curtis, is “God is in the House” sung by
Rebecca Lynn Howard. Curtis and local legend Marty Raybon co-wrote “Get Up in
Jesus’ Name”. “We All Bow Down”, soon to be a classic hymn of the Church is
sung by Grand Ole Opry favorite Ricky Skaggs and was penned by Lenny LeBlanc.
This album will inspire
you, as well as lead you into the Presence of God with singing by some of
today’s biggest Country Stars.
